Architect as Muse: Museum Design
March 10th 7-9pm EST
with Miriam Peterson, Celia Imrey, Jing Liu, and jennifer sage
moderated by Cynthia Barton and Jessica Kung
Join Yale Women in Architecture to explore the work of four alumni architects from around the world, both established and emerging voices. Sometimes we are asked to listen to the history of things - the history of the land, the history of objects, and the history of cultural spaces that hold these objects. As cultural institutions continue to evolve, deeper levels of listening and analysis support the reimagining of the future of our cultural institutions.
Some of the museums we will be looking at include: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Smithsonian Museum, The Noguchi Museum, and more!
